Marblized Paper

Enamel paint is floated on top of water. Paper is placed on the surface of the water and then pulled up. Two or more colors are ideal for best results.

Alphabet Compositions

Scratchboard Fantasy

This piece started as a demonstration to my high school talent art students on how to draw on scratchboard using the scraping tools.

Here are some paintings I completed for a "Positive Space/Negative Space" project with high school students. I wanted them to see a variety of possible solutions for one project. Each one shows a different ways to break up space of a leaf shape and its background.
